Sugar Hill Estate is a prestigious community set on a spectacular ridge with panoramic views overlooking the Platinum Coast. Spread over 50 acres of landscaped tropical gardens, it’s a wonderfully relaxing retreat: a perfect respite from the hurly burly of the coast road and with masses of space centred around the colonial style Club House.

Bar restaurant

Conveniently just a minute's walk from Lumiere, the Club House bar & restaurant is a handy and convivial spot for a sundowner beside the pool.

Manicured gardens

Sugar Hill is a world-class residential community and a large team is kept busy ensuring it looks its best. The lush tropical gardens are immaculate.

Fitness centre

The state of the art fitness centre is well equipped. Adjacent to the Club House pool, it's air conditioned and offers an excellent gym and regular fitness classes.

Stylish Club House

Club House infinity pool

The Club House is a stylish focal point, with an open plan design to make the most of the tropical breezes. Sugar Hill is a gated community with 24 hour security and Reception staff are on hand to welcome you and provide assistance at all times.

The Club House showcases a stunning 2,000 sq. ft. infinity pool, spacious surrounding terrace with plenty of sun loungers and the ever-so-convenient bar. Take a dip as the sun sets for some memorable ‘Caribbean sunset’ photos.

Tennis on the doorstep
The four championship courts of the David Lloyd Tennis Village are a real feature. Floodlit and with seating for the prestige tournaments, they are no stranger to players like Venus Williams and Andy Murray (keep an eye on pro-celebrity tournament dates here). For most of us though, it’s the pleasant dilemma of a game before breakfast? Or perhaps when the sun has gone down, possibly followed by drinks in the Club House bar?

Anyone for tennis? High quality courts at your disposal, adjacent to the Club House.

Location and Setting

Sugar Hill is set on a gentle slope opposite Royal Westmoreland in St James and slightly inland from the Fairmont Royal Pavilion and Colony Club hotels. The beach is walkable though most people choose to have a car (Lumiere comes with free beach parking at the Fairmont Royal Pavilion). High quality and a relaxed ambience are the hallmarks of Sugar Hill, from the Ian Morrison-designed properties, extensive use of natural Barbados coral stone, superb finishes and of course the most stunning sunset views of the West Coast across the infinity pool.

A prime position among tropical gardens, overlooking the Platinum Coast.
